Champagne Toast to the Season: Paris in the Springtime

On Thursday March 15, Décor Jetté helped Amy Schalk, owner of the new Soigné Boutique, throw a Champagne Toast to the Season: Paris in the Springtime.

The main purpose of the event was to introduce Austin to Schalk's stylish boutique and new reasonably priced spring lines. The shop is unlike any other boutique because clothing prices are quite moderate (shoppers can find great items priced in the range of $45 - $150) and guests are always offered champagne and made to feel special with excellent one-on-one customer service upon every visit.

Décor Jetté's responsibility was to develop the theme, negotiate a wine and champagne vendor, and market the event. Part of the event marketing was to obtain listings in Austin publications and event calendars. As a result, Soigné was featured in Austin Tidbits, Upcoming.org, Do 512, Holly's Hot Happenings, China Town Connection, and Style Shaker.

With French music softly playing in the background, guests were treated to a French champagne tasting conducted by Jerry Reid, manager of the new Vino Vino wine bar while they nibbled on succulent chocolate covered strawberries from Keep Austin Sweet. Soigné Boutique offered 15% off of all the clothes and accessories to the attendees.

Guests seemed to be quite pleased by Reid's champagne lesson and by Soigné's stylish clothing and accessory selections. Many of them left with their hands full of shopping bags and their heads full of French champagne knowledge.

A special thank you to Amy Schalk and Tiffany Allen of  Soigné, Jerry Reid of Vino Vino and Yvette Yung of Keep Austin Sweet.
